Bharat K. Patel, M.D., has been a member of the Gastrointestinal Consultants of Northeastern Pennsylvania (NE PA) since 1999.

Dr. Patel is a graduate of the University of Bombay TN Medical College in Bombay, India. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. He completed a combined gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and Saint Vincent Hospital.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and board-certified in gastroenterology, Dr. Patel is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology.

He is an active member of the medical staff at Community Medical Center, Regional Hospital and Moses Taylor Hospital.

In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys tennis, racquetball and traveling. He is married with two children.
